Internship Industrial Tool Design

Agena Space team develops key technologies for future satellite platform and strategy for in-orbit service missions, provides system engineering studies, and supports product manufacturing and integration on the platform.

We are looking for an intern to join our team for 5/6 months. You will play an active role in the development of our projects to create cutting-edge hardware that will be launched into space.

You will then

  • Develop the specifications for the future industrial tool: infrastructure and resources, supply and logistics needs
  • Identify constraints related to the supply chain
  • Establish the detailed design of the industrial tool: Value Stream Mapping
  • Set up a prototype of the industrial tool
  • Propose several supply scenarios
  • Analyze risks and propose actions to reduce them
  • Consider cost aspects and analyze the « Make or Buy » issue
  • Participate in the search and selection of suppliers

Must have

  • Engineering student
  • Essential aptitudes for production professions: industrial tools, manufacturing processes, methods, and supply chain
  • Ability to integrate into a highly dynamic team of young engineers
  • Good communicator
  • Proactive
  • English appreciated (read, written)
