Internship Industrial Tool Design
Agena Space team develops key technologies for future satellite platform and strategy for in-orbit service missions, provides system engineering studies, and supports product manufacturing and integration on the platform.
We are looking for an intern to join our team for 5/6 months. You will play an active role in the development of our projects to create cutting-edge hardware that will be launched into space.
You will then
- Develop the specifications for the future industrial tool: infrastructure and resources, supply and logistics needs
- Identify constraints related to the supply chain
- Establish the detailed design of the industrial tool: Value Stream Mapping
- Set up a prototype of the industrial tool
- Propose several supply scenarios
- Analyze risks and propose actions to reduce them
- Consider cost aspects and analyze the “Make or Buy” issue
- Participate in the search and selection of suppliers
Must have
- Engineering student
- Essential aptitudes for production professions: industrial tools, manufacturing processes, methods, and supply chain
- Ability to integrate into a highly dynamic team of young engineers
- Good communicator
- Proactive
- English appreciated (read, written)
