Internship – Electronics
Agena Space team develops key technologies for future satellite platform and strategy for in-orbit service missions, provides system engineering studies, and supports product manufacturing and integration on the platform.
Making space an agile journey is our moto.
We are looking for an electronics intern to join our team for 5/6 months. You will play an active role in the development of our projects to create cutting-edge hardware that will be launched into space.
You will then
1. Support the design and prototyping of printed circuit boards (PCBs):
· Develop PCBs and code the on-board computer to control them.
· Use computer-aided design (CAD) tools to create electronic schematics and PCB layouts.
2. PCB simulations:
· Perform electrical simulations of PCBs to validate their performance.
· Use the open-source SPICE software
3. Prototyping and bench testing:
· Assemble and test electronic circuit prototypes on the bench.
· Collaborate with our avionics engineer to successfully conduct tests and verifications.
4. Integration of electronic cards into protective casings:
· Work on integrating hardware into shielded electronic enclosures that protect against cosmic radiation.
· Ensure the reliability and robustness of electronic systems in demanding space environments.
Must have
- Familiar with DIY projects using Arduino and Raspberry Pi
- Knowledge of PCB design and CAD tools (e.g. KiCad).
- Proficiency in electrical simulations with SPICE.
- Knowing how to use Data Exchange Protocol is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team, proactive attitude, and autonomy.
